London Film Festival
Maria has worked as a programme advisor with the London Film Festival since 1997, responsible for the selection and presentation of Spanish and Latin American films including over 150 interviews with directors, producers and actors including Lisandro Alonso, Javier Bardem, Daniel Burman, Alfonso Cuarón, Penélope Cruz, Benicio del Toro, Pablo Berger, Fabian Bielinsky, Delfina Castagnino, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Diego Luna, Julio Medem, Viggo Mortensen, Ventura Pons, Javier Rebollo, Carlos Saura, Santiago Segura, Albert Serra, Gustavo Tarreto, and Pablo Trapero. In a 2012 interview Delgado spoke of her programming work for the festival.

She has undertaken London Film Festival Screentalks with Alfonso Cuarón, Michel Franco, Pablo Larraín and many other filmmakers.
She has given presentations on her programming and curatorial work at a range of festivals and events, including Buenos Aires’ BAFICI Festival (2012) and Bogotá’s Audiovisual Market (2014) and published on programming for film festivals.
